We enjoyed walking here each morning while staying there.

There is a wide open expanse of a valley just to the south of here called the Rush Valley. Actually, the Pony Express trail runs across it on its way to California. 

Biking for the Soul

A couple of week ago a group from our church met at the source of the Jordan River where it comes out of Utah Lake. There is a wonderful bike trail that begins there and actually follows the river and meanders up the Utah Valley all the way to the Great Salt Lake. We experienced beautiful scenery and an abundance of wildlife. Some of the favorites were the family of Sand Hill Cranes

and the most impressive was the Yellowheaded Blackbird.
